Admitted to practice in November 2006, Kyle clerked for Jack Martin & Associates for several years while attending law school. His practice encompasses both licensing and compliance matters for clients in the alcoholic beverage industry, with particular emphasis on the operation of private clubs.
Representative Experience
- Advised mobile advertising company on marketing practices and compliance of advertisements involving alcoholic beverages with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and TABC’s rules
- Advises clients in tax issues including obtaining waivers of bond requirements and confirmation of taxability issues from the Comptroller of Public Accounts
- Assists several major restaurant chains with the operation and maintenance of private clubs to insure compliance with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and TABC’s rules
- Advises and assists private clubs in preparing for TABC audits of their operations
- Advises private clubs on winding up of operations and dissolution following Local Option Elections
- Assists and advises with alcoholic beverage licensing and compliance issues
- Analyzes and advises clients concerning marketing practices issues
- Assists and advises clients with city and county health, food and alcoholic beverage permits and licenses
