Jack Martin & Associates represents alcoholic beverage retailers, marketers, distributors and manufacturers in all matters related to their regulated operations in Texas.

Our background in business and transactional law allows us to structure our clients’ operations to meet the requirements of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and the rules of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, while limiting tax and disclosure burdens to the extent possible.

While our primary focus is on helping our clients obtain and maintain the permits required for their Texas operations, our services extend far beyond permitting alone.  We have obtained approval of novel marketing programs, represented our clients in the rulemaking process before the TABC, and acted as consultants in lobbying efforts before the Texas legislature, among other projects.  With this depth of experience, we can serve as a resource in addressing any legal question involving alcoholic beverages in Texas.

In addition to representing clients directly, we also serve as special counsel to other law firms in resolving issues encountered by their clients involving alcoholic beverage operations in Texas.

Our Austin location gives us ready access to the decision makers at the TABC, allowing us to provide prompt and effective assistance to our clients.  We have over 25 years of combined experience representing clients before the TABC, the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau and local government agencies, a level of experience that few other firms can match.
